Fairly interesting book (if you are into learning about the guts of these games) that starts off explaining microcomputer chips in general. It discusses the workings of several console systems, electronic chess/strategy games, and well over 100 pages of handheld games. Rather than discussing handheld games in a general sense, each section is broken down into individual games with a brief description of how that game works (basically a run down of how the game is played and how scoring is achieved). Full of black and white photographs of the games and diagrams of many of the playing fields.
